More Goodies in Atomic Learning

I posted three links on the Wiki about Web 2.0 tools and also podcasts. These are in Atomic Learning as workshops. There are still 1 - 3 minute videos grouped as workshops.

These links are in Week 5.

ISTE award winners

I'd like to direct you to a page I received listing some of the winners of the annual ISTE (International Society for Technical Education) contest in the SIGMS division (Special Interest Group Media Specialists). Only three of the winners have links to their projects but all three are worth looking at. Go to -

and look for the links to MakingHistorySnowAdventure and the two blogs. Be inspired! Katie

Alaskan Authors Blog

Since I think Dianne's intent with this blog is for us to share with the class I thought I'd make a couple entries with some great examples I found this week.

The first is a blog maintained by and about Alaskan Authors. It is called 49 Writers. I like the simplicity of its layout. It looks clean and inviting. It is necessary to scroll down to get the full benefit of the blog, the individual author information is on the side in the right hand column but once you know to look there it is easy to locate.
It is interesting how blogs fill different needs for different individuals and groups. I hope you enjoy browsing this one and sharing it with colleagues. Katie
